Who we are:
Tread Softly is bringing new life into the sustainability sector. Our aims are to reduce waste and create useful products from things that would otherwise end up in landfill, or worse as litter in the environment. In doing this we are reducing greenhouse gas emissions, land used for landfill and pollution. At the same time we are also producing versatile and high quality products. We do all this to create a range of products that give back to the planet rather then take from it.
We at Tread Softly partner with other sustainable and eco conscious companies, such as Hero Packaging, to reduce the amount of single use plastics which can end up in landfill or nature. To accomplish this we use reusable packaging as much as we can. If something has to be single use we use biodegradable and
compostable options where possible. Look out for our container buy back program coming soon.
What we do:
Tread Softly aims to create closed loop and waste free systems. Systems that incorporate renewable energy production and usage into our product life cycles. We don’t just want to minimise our impact on the planet. We want to have a positive impact on it through best use technology and innovation, using existing and often under utilised technologies as well as the lessons we have learned from nature. Our desire is to make it easy for everyone to live more sustainably.
At Tread Softly we believe that climate change is one of the most significant issues of our time. We aim to have a real and significant effect on reducing the impacts of man made climate change and environmental degradation which we will only increase with our growth and scaling up of the business. Our flagship product: Tread Softly Power Plant is a prime example of how we will attempt to accomplish this. Using waste products that could be harmful to the environment to release our reliance on fossil fuels, remove greenhouse gas emissions while encouraging and supporting healthy plant growth which actively removes carbon from the atmosphere. Many other plant foods and fertilisers are made with synthetic chemicals. These synthetic chemicals put additional stress on the environment through their production.
